MEMBERSHIP
Becoming a member of the association is a way that you may show your support for the railway and its objectives. You will be amongst hundreds of like minded people who have an appreciation of the heritage we aim to preserve.
The Association is managed by its own Board of Directors including representatives from Peak Rail plc, who are all elected by the members at the Annual General Meeting. Members are also able to have a say in how the association is run by attending and voting on resolutions at the AGM with postal votes available for all those unable to attend.
For a small annual fee you will receive the benefits and privileges membership brings which include:
A full days free travel on normal operating days each year with a 25% discount on all subsequent travel.
A 10% discount on many of the items available in Peak Rail shops
The opportunity to become a volunteer on the railway (age 16 and over)
Membership of the association is open to anyone over the age of fourteen.
Children under fourteen are still able to be members but must be part of a family membership.
Annual membership rates are as follows.
Junior (14 to 16 year old) £10
Adult £16
Adult Couple £25
Senior (state pension age and above) £12
Senior Couple* £18
Family (up to 2 adults & 2 children) £30
*Only one member of a senior couple needs to be of state pension age.
