Attached are some photographs taken by the late Ian Cox a member of Sheffield branch and also a director of PRA and other Peak Rail organisations. They are in two locations, taken in the early 1980s.
1) A sales stand at an unknown location where I would like to know the date; location and people
2) Photos of people involved in the restoration of Kinlet Hall and a standard2-6-4T 80080 at Matlock where I would like to know the names of the people involved.

The Association collection is stored at Rowsley South station. The main aim is to collect material from the Ambergate to Buxton and Chinley routes from its opening to the present. This includes the parts that are still open as part of the national network and also the history of Peak Rail since its formation in 1975. We only collect items from the wider national network where they form a part of a collection based on the route or where there is likely to be a significant educational value in them being part of the collection.
New material is always welcome as a donation and by arrangement on loan. For details of the collection and other sources of information about the route and Peak Rail.

Visits for research purposes to the collection can be arranged when the site is open to the public, please contact Mick Bond the archivist via or archive@peakrailwayassociation.co.uk to discuss this further.
A museum covering the history of the route is located at Darley Dale.
